LRMP has brought together a Special Worker's Compensation Trust and Several Insurance Carriers to construct a program specifically for New York state auto repair shops.

The Special Worker's Compensation Trust is a self-insured workers' compensation plan for New York State employers. The Trust is comprised of a select group of companies who have demonstrated a commitment to safety and loss control. Trust members pay rates much lower than the rates published by the New York State Workers' Compensation rating organization.

Benefits Provided by the Special Trust:

• Low Rates - The Trust rates are much lower than the N.Y.S. manual rates and assessment charges.
• Independence - You are freed from the N.Y.S. Workers' Compensation Rating system (rates are set by the group).
• Customized Safety and Loss Control Services - Extensive loss control services are provided by the Trust's Safety Director to each member to reduce accidents and minimize losses.

LRMP has negotiated with Several Insurance Carriers to provide Property and Liability Coverages at preferred rates.

Coverage includes:

• General Liability
• Property
• Business Automobile
• Umbrella Liability
   

This program is compromised of a select group of Garages who have demonstrated a commitment to safety and loss control. Underwriting guidelines are strict in order to preserve the preferred rates available to members of the group. Below is a list of operation types that are pre-approved for the Trust.

  • Electrical & Ignition Repair
  • Exhaust Shops
  • Front-end Shops
  • Radiator-Repair Shops
  • Rustproofing, Undercoating Shops
  • Sound System Sales, Installation & Service
  • Suspension Shops
  • Transmission Shops
  • Trim, Upholstery & Top Shops
• Auto Tire Dealers Except Retreaders
• Car Washes (with P.D. Deductible)
• Gasoline Stations
